On Windows Mobile devices, however, the application is usually Microsoft ActiveSync, drivers for keyboards, or programs used to configure GPS receivers. It is common on Windows Mobile devices for applications to not release the serial port even though the application may no longer be running. I've updated to the trinity radio v1.22.01.01 and have installed this driver. I'm seeing nmea data on COM6 without problems using mToken. Just going to devices. Install 7.2.4 drivers. Yhe installer will install wmcore service that will allow run GPS. TIP: Select from disk and choose wwanuss.inf. Windows will search for correct device in other inf files. Manual install driver 7.2.4 for H5321 gw Mobile Broadband Device device in Device manager - Universal Serial Bus TAB; Install drivers 7.2.x for 3 new. It returns latitude, longitude, altitude, speed, heading and many other parameters of the position. This control works with any NMEA compatible receiver connected to one of the serial ports. You can use it also with USB devices, because these devices usually have a driver that redirects the input from the USB port to a virtual serial port.

I've installed GPSDrive which seems to work fine, but it doesn't see the USB EarthMate GPS device.
When the GPS is plugged into the PowerBook, the light on the GPS flashes a few times and then goes out. Looking in /dev, I don't see any devices that I recognize as a USB device.
The whole thing works fine on my ThinkPad, but I'd really rather use the PowerBook if you know what I mean.
I know DeLorme doesn't have drivers for Mac's, but I'm hoping some clever soul has figured a work around.
Thanks
