Adaptec Scsi Card 29320 - Ultra320 Scsi Drivers

The Adaptec SCSI Card 29320 - Ultra320 SCSI device driver allows the feature sets of its supported controller device to be implemented in PCIe servers. This device provides the industry’s 1st Ultra320 SCSI tape connectivity function with the stability and consistency of a one channel I/O interface. This low profile device safeguards existing devices via backward compatibility with the other tape drives, drivers and disks already installed in a computer system. In addition, Adaptec’s Speedflex technology delivers the capability of mixing SCSI devices without having an impact on performance. One of the main characteristics of this controller is its ability to permit users to connect up to a maximum of 15 LVDs or low voltage differential and/or SE or single ended SCSI devices. These include devices like very big arrays of high performance external storage subsystems, hard disk drives, scanners, CD-ROM drives and Ultra320 or 160 hard drives to all Intel based systems with 32 bit or 64 bit PCI-X or PCI slots.
